The Complete Blue Note Recordings of Albert Ammons and Meade Lux Lewis, (1920s-40s?)

Boogie-woogie pianists (of course it's silly to trivialize them that way, but how else would you summarize them?).

Mosaic Records set MD2-103, long out-of-print.

If you aren't familiar with the technical excellence of Mosaic Records, look it up - they have no equal.

When Mosaic released its first three boxed sets, word reached the international jazz community in a hurry. A compilation of the blue Note records of Albert Ammons and Mead Lux Lewis (MR3/MD2-103) was flawlessly executed (though it mainly appealed to boogie woogie archivists).
