There's a great book by Suzanne White that explains each of the 144 combinations in great detail (4-5 pages each) - The New Astrology. It's remarkably accurate for matches and mismatches of personality aspects for close friends I looked up. I was not a big believer in astrology until I discovered this book. It would have saved me years of aggravation if I had come across it two or three girlfriends earlier... Read reviews. You can usually find it used in softcover for around $6 (used hardcover versions are sometimes available: 1993 version - 1986 version).

She also has a book entitled "Suzanne White's Guide to Love: A Unique Blend of Zodiac-Based and Chinese Astrology That Shows You How to Find Your Perfect Mate" that I have not read as I have already found mine (available used).
